Siguria Superleague
The Kosovo Basketball Superleague ( Albanian: Superliga e Kosovës në Basketboll) and known as the ArtMotion Superliga due to sponsorship reasons is the top men's professional basketball league in Kosovo. Basketball Superleague was founded in 1991. It is run by the Basketball Federation of Kosovo. Prishtina holds the record for most Superleague titles as it has won the championship 14 times. Current teams Rules Competition format It consists of eight to ten teams which compete each year in two separate phases. Each team has to play all the other teams in its division four times, twice at home and twice away. This means that in Kosovo basketball, the league's regular season ends after all teams play 28 matches. At the end of the league, the four best teams in the standings start a play-off, pitting the first place team in the standings versus the 4th place team in the standings, and so on. RTV21 (an acronym for Radiotelevizioni 21; English: Radiotelevision 21) is a broadcaster and media company based in Pristina, Kosovo, which includes a radio (est. May 11, 1998), a television station (est. September 22, 2000), and six sister stations. Its launch in online radio made it the first Albanian station to air over the internet. History Founding Founded as Radio 21 by Afërdita Saraçini and her husband, Florin Kelmendi, this transmission was a 30-minute news program about the events in Kosovo during the 1998-1999 war. Radio 21 reported from Skopje temporarily during the NATO bombing (March–June 1999). After the war began the revival of this broadcaster and with the help of donations from abroad the company also launched the national TV channel RTV21. Andin Rashica (born 19 September 1990) is a professional basketball coach from Kosovo. Coaching career Rashica was in the coaching staff of Sigal Prishtina from 2006 to 2013. On 2 February 2013, at the age of 23, Rashica was hired as the head coach of the KB RTV21, being the youngest coach in Kosovo to lead a professional club.
