KBZZ (1270 Hertz, kHz, "92.5 The Hog") is an AM radio, AM radio station broadcasting a classic rock format. Licensed to Sparks, Nevada, United States, the station is part of Tom Quinn's Reno Media Group and serves the Reno area. The station is currently owned by Americom Limited Partnership. Sparks, Nevada
Sparks is a city in Washoe County, Nevada, United States. It was founded in 1904, incorporated on March 15, 1905, and is located just east of Reno. The 2020 U.S. Census counted 108,445 residents in the city. It is the fifth most populous city in Nevada. It is named after John Sparks, Nevada Governor (1903–1908), and a member of the Silver Party. Sparks is located within the Reno–Sparks metropolitan area. KPGF
KPGF (93.7 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Sun Valley, Nevada, and broadcasting to the Reno metropolitan area. It is owned by Flinn Broadcasting and airs an 80s hits radio format. History KPGF's former occupant, KWNZ, made its debut on February 14, 1985 as a Top 40 at 97.3 but in 2004 switched frequencies to 93.7. KWNZ launched with morning man Bruce Van Dyke, PD Dave Shakes in middays and MD Todd Fisher, who handled nights and eventually afternoons. Prior to the 2004 frequency flip, they were a Rhythmic Top 40 throughout the 1990s and most of the 2000s. The ''Don and Mike Show'' was an American nationally syndicated radio talk show hosted by the shock jocks Don Geronimo and Mike O'Meara, which aired from December 1985 through April 11, 2008. The show debuted on WAVA-FM in 1985 as ''The Morning Zoo with Don and Mike''. The official name of the show became'' The Don and Mike Show'' when the duo moved to WJFK-FM in 1991. La Junta, Colorado
La Junta is a home rule municipality in , the county seat of, and the most populous municipality of Otero County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 7,322 at the 2020 United States Census. La Junta is located on the Arkansas River in southeastern Colorado east of Pueblo. History La Junta (Spanish for "the junction") was named for the fact it rested at the intersection of the Santa Fe Trail and a pioneer road to Pueblo. The town developed near Bent's Fort, a fur trading post of the 19th century. During World War II, La Junta had an Army Air Force Training Base outside town. South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa (formerly South Coast) is a resort located along Las Vegas Boulevard in Enterprise, Nevada, south of the Las Vegas Strip. It is owned and operated by Michael Gaughan, the founder of Coast Casinos. It includes a casino and a 25-story hotel with 2,163 rooms. Coast Casinos purchased the site in 2001, and announced the South Coast project in April 2003. Construction began one year later. Coast Casinos was subsequently merged with Boyd Gaming.
