KBZE (105.9 FM) is the only urban radio station located between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and Lafayette. It broadcasts the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and live local news and sports six times a day, weekdays. KRDO-FM (105.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Security, Colorado and serving the Colorado Springs-Pueblo media market. It is owned and operated by the News-Press & Gazette Company of St. Joseph, Missouri, through its licensee Pikes Peak Television, Inc. KRDO-FM airs a News/Talk radio format. Berwick, Louisiana
Berwick is a town in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 4,946 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Morgan City Micropolitan Statistical Area. The town relocated the Southwest Reef Light and has been trying to save the Ship Shoal Light History The first white settler in the area was Thomas Berwick (c. 1740-c. 1792), a Philadelphia-born surveyor in the Opelousas district. He and his family settled on the banks of the Atchafalaya River after receiving a land grant in 1779. Berwick wanted to establish a port at the mouth of the river. His son Joseph (1783-1852) established a settlement on the west bank of the river that became the town of Berwick. Franklin is a small city in and the parish seat of St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 6,229 as of 2024. Urban adult contemporary, often abbreviated as urban AC or UAC, (also known as adult R&B,) is the name for a format of radio music, similar to an urban contemporary format.
