KARA (band)
Kara (; ; often stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007. The group's current lineup is Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, Jiyoung, and Youngji. Kara made their debut in March 2007 with their first studio album, '' The First Bloooooming''. Originally a quartet composed of Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, and Kim Sunghee, Kara showcased a strong female image and a mature R&B sound. However, their debut was a commercial failure. The following year, Sunghee left the group due to educational issues, and members Goo Hara and Kang Ji-young were added. Kara's image changed to a "pretty but natural" concept with the release of their first mini-album, ''Rock U,'' in July 2008. They saw an increase in recognition in 2009, where they received significant attention for the "butt dance" choreography in "Mister". Music Network (acronym of the Mnet) is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by CJ ENM Entertainment Division. The CJ E&M Center Studio located in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul is the headquarters, broadcast and recording centre of many Mnet programs with a studio audience, namely the live weekly music show '' M Countdown''. Nicole Yongju Jung (; born October 7, 1991), referred to as Nicole, is a South Korean-American singer. She is a member of South Korean girl group Kara. Her solo debut mini album, ''First Romance'', was released on November 19, 2014. Early life Jung was born on October 7, 1991 in Glendale, California to Korean parents. She attended Mark Keppel Elementary School and Toll Middle School in Glendale, California. She participated in choir, drill team, played the violin for 4 years and took dance classes. Karasia
Karasia are a series of concert tours by South Korean girl group Kara. The Karasia 1st Tour began in Seoul at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in February 2012 and concluded at the Tokyo Dome in January 2013, marking the first time a female South Korean artist held a concert at the venue. The Karasia 2nd Japan Tour commenced in October 2013, which drew 120,000 people across 14 shows. ''Move Again'' is the eighth extended play released by the South Korean girl group Kara, released on November 29, 2022 through RBW, marketed as their "''15th Anniversary Special Album''". The EP marks their first release since their disbandment in 2016, their first to feature Nicole and Jiyoung since their departure in 2014, and their first to be released following the death of member Hara in November 2019. ''Kara Project'' is a 2014 South Korean reality television program starring the girl group Kara. It aired on MBC M from May 27 – 1 July 2014. The program centred around the search to find a new member of Kara, following the departure of its members Nicole and Jiyoung. Super Girl (album)
is the second Japanese studio album and fifth overall studio album by South Korean girl group Kara. It was released digitally on November 16, 2011 and physically on November 23, 2011. A special Tour Edition of the album was released on April 11, 2012.
