KAMA (750 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish News/Talk format. Licensed to El Paso, Texas, United States, the station serves the El Paso area. The station is currently owned by 97.5 Licensee TX, LLC, an American subsidiary of Grupo Radio Centro. CBGY is the Canadian Class A station on 750 AM. History The station went on the air as KEPB on April 18, 1985, promptly taking the current KAMA calls on July 11. WSB (750 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. It airs a news/talk radio format, simulcast on Doraville-licensed WSBB-FM. WSB is the flagship station for Cox Media Group; in addition to WSB and WSBB-FM, it owns three other Atlanta radio stations and Atlanta's ABC Television Network affiliate, WSB-TV. CBG is a radio station broadcasting at 1400 kHz ( AM) from Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada with a power of 4,000 watts. A clear-channel station is an AM radio station in North America that has the highest protection from interference from other stations, particularly concerning night-time skywave propagation. The system exists to ensure the viability of cross-country or cross-continent radio service enforced through a series of treaties and statutory laws. Known as Class A stations since 1982, they are occasionally still referred to by their former classifications of Class I-A (the highest classification), Class I-B (the next highest class), or Class I-N (for stations in Alaska too far away to cause interference to the primary clear-channel stations in the lower 48 states).
