KXPX-LP (channel 14) was a low-power television station in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, which operated from 1991 to 2018. Last owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, its final programming was the digital multicast network TBD. It was functionally replaced by a digital subchannel of co-owned Fox affiliate KSCC (channel 38). The transmitter was located on Leopard Street in Corpus Christi. History The station went on the air as K66EB (channel 66) on March 15, 1991. 720p (720 lines progressive) is a progressive HD signal format with 720 horizontal lines/1280 columns and an aspect ratio (AR) of 16:9, normally known as widescreen HD (1.78:1). Owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, the station maintains studios on South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, and its transmitter is located southeast of Robstown. Because KSCC is a full-power television station, its signal covers the Corpus Christi metropolitan area, as well as outlying towns as far as Raymondville and George West.
