K. C. McDermott
K. C. McDermott (born April 18, 1996) is an American football offensive guard who is a free agent. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2018 following his college football career with the Miami Hurricanes. Professional career Jacksonville Jaguars McDermott signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL draft on April 30, 2018. He was waived during final roster cuts on September 1, 2018, and signed to the team's practice squad the next day. McDermott signed a futures contract with the Jaguars on December 31, 2018. He suffered an ankle injury in the final 2019 preseason game and was waived/injured during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019. He subsequently reverted to the team's injured reserve list the next day. McDermott was waived during final roster cuts again on September 5, 2020, and signed to the practice squad on September 7. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking.
