K.O.S.C. Wijgmaal
K.O.S.C. Wijgmaal is a Belgian football club based in the town of Wijgmaal, registered with the Belgian FA under matricule 1349. The full name of the club is ''Koninklijke Olympia Sportkring Club Wijgmaal'' (Royal Olympia Sports Club Wijgmaal) and it has blue and white as club colours. The club has played for over three decades at the national level. History In the years prior to World War I, youngsters in Wijgmaal occasionally played football on Sunday, coached by vicar Van Hees, and this team joined the Catholic Sports Association. When Van Hees was gone, it was decided to continue his efforts, leading to the foundation of ''Olympia Sporting Club Wijgmael'', which joined the Belgian FA in 1928 and was awarded matricule number 1349. The 2020–21 Belgian Division 2 was the fifth season of the division in its current format, placed at the fourth-tier of association football, football in Belgium and the first under this name, after being renamed (Belgian) Division 2 from (Belgian) ''Second Amateur Division''. The season was cancelled in January 2021 with just a few matches played, as measures taken by the Belgian government against the spread of COVID-19 prohibited amateur football. Belgian Provincial Leagues
The Belgian Provincial leagues are the lower leagues for Belgian football. Until 2016, these were at levels 5-8 in the Belgian football league system however as part of the reform an extra level was created causing the provincial leagues to drop to levels 6-9. The provincial leagues are divided into 9 regional league systems (one for each province, but Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant are merged and contain also the football teams from the Brussels Capital Region). Each league system is itself divided into 4 levels (except for Luxembourg where there are only 3). The number of leagues at each level depends on the province, but every province must have only one league at the top level. Belgian Fourth Division
The Belgian Fourth Division was the lowest nationwide division in Belgian football. The division was split into four separate leagues, A, B, C and D. The team with the most points in the four leagues together was declared the overall winner. If several league winners had the same number of points, the one with the most wins was declared champion, or if that was still tied, then the one with the best goal average was declared champion. Finally, if two teams were still equal, a single match was played on a neutral ground to determine the team to be added to the palmares. The Belgian Third Division (, ) was the third highest level in Football in Belgium, Belgian football. It had two leagues of 18 teams each (Belgian Third Division A, A and Belgian Third Division B, B) at the same level.
