K-otic (Dutch Band)
K-otic (meaning: chaotic) are a Dutch pop group that originated from the television program Starmaker. The group originally consisted of Rachel Kramer, Bouchra Tjon Pon Fong, Anna Speller, Sita Vermeulen, Bart Voncken, Stefan de Roon and Martijn Terporten. Vermeulen left the group at the end of 2001. In 2003 the band was dissolved due to decreasing success. The group met again at the end of 2015 to organize a one-off concert in 2016. Martijn Terporten
Martyn Mazz (born Martijn Hubertus Johannes Terporten on October 13, 1983) is a Dutch artist and songwriter who was the lead vocalist in Van Gunn (2004–2008), 7 Days' Wonder (2009), primarily known as a singer in K-otic (2001–2003) and currently active solely as a songwriter. Career Mazz grew up in Maasbree, Netherlands. Growing up with music such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and Thin Lizzy mainly caused by his parents' influence, and later, on the verge of the crossover from 1980s glamrock and 1990s grunge, getting a taste of those both worlds mainly through (according to his own biography) sneaking his way to his sisters' record shelf. Sita Maria Vermeulen (born 8 June 1980), known by the mononym Sita, is a Dutch pop singer, actress and tv personality. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as part of the pop group K-otic. After leaving the band in 2001, she had a brief solo career before turning to television, where she was featured primarily on children's television and was a candidate on ''Sterren Dansen Op Het IJs'', the Dutch adaption of ''Dancing on Ice'' as well as the Dutch version of ''Dancing With The Stars''.
