Asger Oluf Jorn (3 March 1914 – 1 May 1973) was a Danish painter, sculptor, ceramic artist, and author. He was a founding member of the avant-garde movement COBRA and the Situationist International. The largest collection of Jorn's works—including his major work '' Stalingrad''—can be seen in the Museum Jorn, Silkeborg, Denmark. Halle Jørn Hanssen (born 18 February 1937) is a Norwegian television correspondent, development aid administrator and politician. He was born in Brønnøy Municipality, and worked as a teacher in Vinje Municipality before enrolling at the University of Oslo. Jørn Utzon
Jørn Oberg Utzon (; 9 April 191829 November 2008) was a Danish architect. In 1957, he won an international design competition for his design of the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Utzon's revised design, which he completed in 1961, was the basis for the landmark, although it was not completed until 1973. When the Sydney Opera House was declared a World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007, Utzon became only the second person to have received such recognition for one of his works during his lifetime, after Oscar Niemeyer. He was an officer in the Royal Norwegian Air Force from 1962 to 1976 and worked in the Ministry of Defence from 1976.
