Jörgen Windahl
Jörgen Windahl (born 12 March 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. Career Windahl was the Boys' Singles Champion at the 1981 Australian Open, the first Swede to win the junior title. He defeated Pat Cash in the final. In Wimbledon later that year, he played in both the men's doubles and singles, but wasn't able to make it past the first round in either. He lost to Ángel Giménez in the singles and with his partner Robert Booth was defeated in five set by Scott McCain and Steve Meister in the doubles. As a singles player he reached the quarter-finals at Metz in 1986 and was a semi-finalist in Madrid the following year. He again competed at Wimbledon in 1987 but lost in the opening round to American qualifier Ken Flach. He was more successful on the doubles circuit, winning his first career title in the 1986 Geneva Open. Jaroslav Navrátil (born 24 July 1957) is a Czech former professional tennis player. Navrátil had most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career, he achieved a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 31 in 1987. He was the captain of the Davis Cup team for the Czech Republic from 2006-2018, including for their 2012 win. Budapest Challenger (September)
The Budapest Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts. It was the latter one of the two simultaneous challengers played in Hungary with the event taking place usually in September. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour. It was held annually at the Római Teniszakadémia in Budapest, Hungary, from 1986 to 2005, when during the 2006 Hungarian floodings the courts were washed away and the event spot was replaced by the WOW Cafe Challenger. The most successful player was Sergio Roitman with three doubles titles. Javier Sánchez Vicario (; born 1 February 1968) is a former top-ten doubles professional tennis player from Spain. Sánchez won the US Open junior singles and doubles title in 1986, and reached the quarterfinal stage in the US Open men's singles event twice - in 1991 and 1996. Career Sánchez won the US Open junior singles and doubles title in 1986, partnering with Tomás Carbonell, and became world no. 1 junior that same year. In Javier's first career singles final in 1987 in Madrid, he faced his brother Emilio Sanchez. Emilio won the match in three sets. Gustavo Tiberti (born 11 December 1959) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Tiberti defeated American qualifier Charles Strode in the opening round of the 1982 French Open. In the second round he met Damir Keretić, who he had beaten two weeks earlier in Florence, but on this occasion proved too strong for Tiberti in a five setter. The Geneva Open is an ATP Tour (formerly Grand Prix) affiliated tennis tournament that was held annually from 1980 to 1991 in Geneva, Switzerland on clay courts. In November 2014 the ATP announced that the Düsseldorf tournament would be moved to Geneva where it would be held in 2015 as a 250 tournament.
