Jörgen is a village in the municipality of Tieschen in the '' Bezirk'' of Südoststeiermark in the Federal State of Styria in Austria. Its population was 159 in 2016. Jörgen is known for its fine white wines. Next to the more common white wines, it also produces Uhudler wines in small quantities. Uhudler is a unique wine from Austria, which originates in the Burgenland region. In Jörgen the white version may often be found, whereas is in Burgenland, its appearance is often a rosé colour. It has intense flavours of strawberry and black currants, a characteristic taste often called "foxy" in wine parlance. The grape varieties used are highly resistant to phylloxera and other diseases; as a result they do not often have to be sprayed with pesticides. Jörgen Mårtensson (born 4 December 1959) is one of the most successful Swedish orienteer of all times. Twice a winner of the World Orienteering Championships, he also won the 5 days O-Ringen in 1981 (at age 21), 1996 and 1997 (at age 37). Furthermore, he won the Swedish Championship in Marathon at Stockholm Marathon in 1993 . Now retired, he had one of the longest spanning careers in orienteering at world class level, taking part in World Championships over a period of twenty years. Jörgen Wålemark (born 3 April 1972) is a Swedish football manager and former player. Career He helped Ljungskile SK from the lower leagues to the ''Allsvenskan'', only to leave the club for mostly foreign teams. Jörgen van Rijen (born 20 February 1975, Dordrecht) is Principal Trombone (jointly with Bart Claessens) at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO) in Amsterdam. He is also a founding member of the Dutch trombone ensemble, New Trombone Collective, and Professor of Trombone at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Biography Jörgen van Rijen started playing trombone at age 8, and at the age of 16 began studying at the Rotterdam Conservatory under George Wiegel. During his studies, Jörgen spent three months studying with Michel Becquet, solo trombonist and teacher at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, where he also studied baroque trombone with Daniel Lassalle. Jörgen Persson (born 22 April 1966, in Halmstad, Sweden) is a Swedish table tennis player. In two memorable World Table Tennis Championships finals he faced fellow Swede Jan-Ove Waldner in 1989 and 1991, losing the former and winning the latter. He also won four World Championship titles in Team. Persson represented Sweden in every Olympic Games from when table tennis was introduced into the Olympic program in 1988 until 2012. After the 2012 Olympics he officially retired. Along with Croatian Zoran Primorac and Belgian Jean-Michel Saive, he was the first table tennis player to have competed at seven Olympic Games.
