József Takács (guitarist)
József Takács (30 June 1904 – 3 September 1983) was a Hungarian international footballer who played as a striker for Vasas, Ferencváros, and the Hungarian national team between 1917 and 1934. He was also selected in Hungary's squad for the football tournament of the 1924 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. Club career Born in Budapest on 30 June 1904, Takács began his footballing career as a goalkeeper, only making his debut as a striker due to an injury to a teammate. He joined the ranks of Vasas in 1917, aged 13, making his debut with the first team on 10 April 1921, in a league fixture against MTK, scoring in a 1–2 loss. In total, he scored 90 goals in 118 league matches with Vasas until 1927, when he joined Ferencvárosi, which signed him because he had been the league top scorer in the 1925–26 season with 29 goals. Stadion Albert Flórián was a sports stadium in Budapest, Hungary. The stadium was the home of the association football club Ferencvárosi TC. The stadium had a capacity of 18,100. Formerly known as ''Üllői úti stadion'' for its location, it had been renamed for Ballon d'Or winner club legend Flórián Albert in 2007. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. IFFHS
The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) is an organisation that chronicles the history and records of association football. It was founded in 1984 by Alfredo Pöge in Leipzig. The IFFHS was based in Abu Dhabi for some time but, in 2010, relocated to Bonn, Germany, and then in 2014 to Zürich. From its early stages to 2002, the IFFHS concentrated on publishing the quarterly magazines ''Fußball-Weltzeitschrift'', ''Libero spezial deutsch'' and ''Libero international''.
