József Tabaka (born 17 September 1989''Świat Żużla'', No 2 (75) / 2008, page 24, ) is a Hungarian motorcycle speedway rider who is a member of Hungary's national team. Individual Speedway Junior World Championship
The Speedway Under-21 World Championship is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) since 1977. As of 2022, the title was awarded to the winner of the SGP2 category at the FIM Speedway World Championship. History Between 1977 and 1987 the Championship was the called Individual Speedway Junior European Championship (European Speedway Under 21 Championship), open only to European riders. In 1979, the Championship allowed riders from other continents to compete, but was renamed to the Speedway World Under 21 Championship in 1988. A new competition was named Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was founded by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) in 1998, only open to European competitors. Hungary National Under-21 Speedway Team
The Hungary national under-21 speedway team is the national under-21 motorcycle speedway team of Hungary and is controlled by the Hungarian Motorcycle Sport Federation. The team was started in the Under-21 World Cup twice and they did not qualify to the final. In 2005 Hungarian riders started with Slovenian riders as a one team. 2010 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2010 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship was the 34th edition of the FIM World motorcycle speedway Under-21 Championships. For the first time a champion would be determined from three races between 17 July and 2 October 2010. Three riders (the 2009 Champion Darcy Ward, Maciej Janowski and Maksims Bogdanovs all tied on 30 points after the three races meaning a run-off was needed to decide the medals. Ward became the second rider to win the Under-21 World Champion title twice, after Emil Sayfutdinov (2007 and 2008 champion) after beating Janowksi and Bogdanovs in the run-off. Qualification In five Qualifying round was started 80 riders and to Semi-finals was qualify top 6 from each meetings. This 30 riders and 2 riders from Semi-final' host federations (Matija Duh of Slovenia and Kevin Wölbert of Germany) was started in two Semi-finals. Goričan
Goričan ( hu, Muracsány) is a municipality in Međimurje County, Croatia. Goričan is the only village belonging to the municipality. Its population in the 2011 census was 2,823. Of the entire population, 2,763 people identified themselves as Croats. Goričan is located in the eastern part of Međimurje County, near the Croatian- Hungarian border and the Mura. The nearby populated places include the villages of Donji Kraljevec ( hu, Murakirály) and Hodošan ( hu, Hodosány) in Međimurje County, as well as the town of Letenye in Hungary. The 2009 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship was the 33rd edition of the FIM World motorcycle speedway Under-21 Championships. The final took place on 4 October, 2009, in Goričan, Croatia. It was first final to be held in the Balkans and the Championship was won by Australian rider Darcy Ward. Edinburgh Monarchs
The Edinburgh Monarchs are a Scottish Speedway team, currently based in Armadale. They compete in the SGB Championship, racing on Friday nights during the Speedway season. The club is run by a board of directors, chaired by Alex Harkess. The club also runs a National Development League team called the Armadale Devils. History The club was founded in 1928 and operated at Marine Gardens, Portobello in 1929, 1930, 1931, 1938 and 1939. A few team matches were staged in 1929 and an Edinburgh team competed in the Northern League in 1930. Motorcycle Speedway
Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four clockwise, anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of soil, dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand). Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track, the motorcycles reach speeds of up to .
