Jérôme Daret
Jérôme Daret (born 26 December 1974) is a French rugby union coach and former player who played as a scrum-half. He spent his entire professional playing career with the US Dax and at the same time had several international selections in rugby sevens. He then transitioned to a career as a coach, with US Dax, then the French rugby sevens team. Playing career Originally from Bias and trained at UA Mimizan, Daret spent his entire professional career with the US Dax as a scrum-half from 1994 to 2006. International career In the meantime, Daret wore the national jersey of the French rugby sevens team, discovering the discipline when he was called up to compensate for a player's injury, and he took part in the Hong Kong Sevens tournament for his debut. The France Sevens, also called the Paris Sevens, is an annual international rugby sevens tournament that is one of ten competitions on the annual World Rugby Sevens Series. The France Sevens is generally held in May or June on the weekend following the London Sevens and is the last competition in the Sevens Series. France has also hosted tournaments within the European Sevens Grand Prix Series, often at Lyon. History From 1996 to 1999 the tournament was known as the Air France Sevens, and in the year 2000 it was part of the inaugural IRB Sevens World Series. The 2024 Spain Sevens or SVNS MAD is a rugby sevens tournament played at Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid. Sixteen men's and women's teams participated, of which eight teams participated in the Grand Finals and the other teams participated in the Core Team Qualifier for core team status and to participate on the 2025 HSBC World Rugby SVNS Series. Antoine Dupont (born 15 November 1996) is a French professional rugby union player who plays as a scrum-half for Top 14 club Toulouse and captains the France national team.
