Jákup Biskopstø Andreasen (born 31 May 1998) is a Faroese footballer who plays as a midfielder for KÍ and the Faroe Islands national team. He is the nephew of Faroese international footballers Ragna Patawary and Rannvá Andreasen. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. 2020–21 UEFA Nations League D
The 2020–21 UEFA Nations League D was the fourth and lowest division of the 2020–21 edition of the UEFA Nations League, the second season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA. Format Following a format change from the first season, League D was reduced from 16 to 7 teams. The league consisted of the lowest ranked UEFA members from 49–55 in the 2018–19 UEFA Nations League overall ranking, who were split into two groups (one group of four teams and one group of three teams). Each team played four or six matches within their group, using the home-and-away round-robin format on double matchdays in September, October and November 2020. Andorra National Football Team
The Andorra national football team ( ca, Selecció de futbol d'Andorra) represents Andorra in association football and is controlled by the Andorran Football Federation, the governing body for football in Andorra. The team has enjoyed very little success due to the Principality's tiny population, the fifth smallest of any UEFA country (only Liechtenstein, San Marino, Gibraltar and the Faroe Islands are smaller). Rannvá Biskopstø Andreasen (born 10 November 1980) is a Faroese football forward for KÍ Klaksvík of the Faroese 1. deild kvinnur. Since 2004, she has represented the Faroe Islands women's national football team at senior international level. She is the national team's all-time record goalscorer, inclusive of both male and female players. Club career In 1995, aged 14, Andreasen made her 1. deild kvinnur debut for KÍ Klaksvík in an 11–0 thrashing by rivals HB Tórshavn. Despite the inauspicious start Andreasen emerged as a promising player and finished her first season with 15 goals. In 1997 she was the league's top goalscorer for the first time with 28 goals as KÍ won the championship. In 2000, KÍ won a league and cup double, beating HB Tórshavn 2–0 in the cup final.
