Jwan Yosef
Jwan Yosef (born 6 September 1984) is a Swedish-Syrian painter and artist. He specializes in plastic arts and is based in London, England. Early life and education Yosef was born in Syria, to a Kurdish people, Kurdish father and an Armenian people, Armenian mother. His family emigrated to Sweden when he was two years old, and later he studied painting in Pernby School of Painting in Stockholm between 2004 and 2006, then moved to Konstfack, Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm.C Print: There and Back Again . Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, is a university college for higher education in the area of art, crafts and design in Stockholm, Sweden. History Konstfack has had several different names since it was founded in 1844 by the ethnologist and artist Nils Månsson Mandelgren as a part-time art school for artisans, under the name "Söndags-Rit-skola för Handtverkare" ("Sunday Drawing School for Artisans").
