''Jwala'' () is a 1971 Indian Hindi-language action film directed and produced by M. V. Raman and written by Chandliyan. It stars Madhubala (in her final, posthumous film appearance) and Sunil Dutt, with Sohrab Modi and Pran in pivotal roles. The film's music was composed by Shankar–Jaikishan. ''Jwala'' was first conceived in mid-1956 but was not completed by late 1960s. Madhubala was mostly absent from the set due to her sickness and Raman had to make use of body doubles for finishing the filming. The film failed at the box office when released in July 1971two years after Madhubala's deathand received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics. Jwala (horse)
Jwala (9 April 2009 – 8 December 2013) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse. As a two-year-old in 2011 she was beaten in her first four races before recording her first success in a minor race at Wolverhampton Racecourse. In the following year she won her first two races before finishing second to Sole Power in a Listed race at Doncaster. Jwala reached her peak as a four-year-old in 2013. After being beaten in her first four races she defeated a strong field to win the City Walls Stakes at York. At the same track in August she recorded a 40/1 upset win in the Group One Nunthorpe Stakes. She was scheduled to retire from racing at the end of the year but was killed in a fall at Sha Tin Racecourse in December. Jwala Gutta (born 7 September 1983) is an Indian badminton player. Beginning in the late 1990s, she represented India at international events in both mixed and women's doubles. She has a total of 316 match wins in both the disciplinesthe most by any Indianand peaked at no. 6 in the world rankings. Gutta has won medals at numerous tournaments on the BWF circuit including a silver at the 2009 Superseries Masters Finals and a bronze at the 2011 World Championships. Jwala Prasad Kureel (15 July 1915 – 25 February 1991) was an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh. He was an MP of the 6th Lok Sabha in 1977 representing Janata Party. of Ghatampur, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. He was also a three time member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Jwala Prasad Srivastava
Sir Jwala Prasad Srivastava, KCSI, KBE (16 August 1889 – 15 December 1954) was an Indian industrialist, government minister and member of the Constituent Assembly of India. Born in Basti in the North-Western Provinces (present Uttar Pradesh), he was the son of Janki Prasad Srivastava and Sohni Kaur. In 1907, he married Kailash Sinha, with whom he had two sons and five daughters. He was educated at Christ Church College in Kanpur, Muir Central College in Allahabad and at the Municipal College of Technology, Manchester. After taking a chemistry degree, he served as an industrial chemist in the government of the United Provinces from 1912 to 1919 before entering the private sector. He rose to become the managing director of several dyeing plants and textile mills in Kanpur and in the princely states of Rampur, Bhopal and Gwalior.
