''Justice'' is the third studio album by American rock band Rev Theory, released on February 15, 2011, by Interscope Records. The first single, also titled "Justice", was released to iTunes and radio on October 25, 2010. ''Justice'' peaked at number 5 on the Hard Rock Albums, US ''Billboard'' Hard Rock Albums chart and number 75 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200. The album has sold 54,000 copies in the United States to date. The song "Justice" was used for WWE's Extreme Rules (2011), Extreme Rules in 2011. The song "Hangman" was used for the secondary theme song for WWE's SmackDown from 2009 to 2012. Rev Theory (formerly known as Revelation Theory) is an American rock band formed in 2002 in North Andover, Massachusetts. The band has released four studio albums: ''Truth Is Currency'' (2005), '' Light It Up'' (2008), ''Justice'' (2011) and '' The Revelation'' (2016), as well as three EPs: ''Revelation Theory EP'' (2004), '' Acoustic Live from the Gibson Lounge'' (2009) and ''Take 'Em Out'' (2012). Extreme Rules (2011)
The 2011 Extreme Rules was the third annual Extreme Rules professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event took place on May 1, 2011, at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. It was the first WWE PPV event to be held in Tampa since Survivor Series in 2000. This was the last Extreme Rules held under the first brand extension, which ended in August but was reinstated in July 2016. It was also the company's first PPV to be promoted under its shortened trade name of WWE, as following WrestleMania XXVII the previous month, the company ceased using its full name of World Wrestling Entertainment, although it is still the legal name of the company. Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (formerly known as Rock Songs and Hot Rock Songs) is a record chart published by ''Billboard'' magazine. From its debut on June 20, 2009, through October 13, 2012, the chart ranked the airplay of songs across alternative, mainstream rock, and triple A radio stations in the United States. Beginning with the chart dated October 20, 2012, the chart has followed the methodology of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 by incorporating digital download sales, streaming data, and radio airplay of rock songs over all formats. From that time until mid-2020, only the performance of core rock songs, including those with an "alternative bent", were tabulated and ranked for the chart. Jonathan Howsmon Davis (born January 18, 1971), also known as JD or JDevil, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist and frontman of nu metal band Korn, who are considered a pioneering act of the nu metal genre. Davis' distinctive personality and Korn's music influenced a generation of musicians and performers who have come after them. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. In the late 1960s, bands such as Blue Cheer, the Jeff Beck Group, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Golden Earring, Steppenwolf and Deep Purple also produced hard rock.
