Jussi Albert Jääskeläinen (; born 19 April 1975) is a Finnish professional football coach and a former Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He is currently working as a goalkeeping coach of Ykkösliiga club PK-35 (men), PK-35. During his career, Jääskeläinen most notably represented Bolton Wanderers F.C., Bolton Wanderers from 1997 until 2012, making 530 appearances across all competitions. During his time at the club, Jääskeläinen was one of their key players, as Bolton transformed from a second-tier side into one of the Premier League’s top clubs under Sam Allardyce. Jussi Raittinen
Jussi Raittinen (15 September 1943 – 13 February 2024) was a Finnish musician known for his solo career and, in addition to the band The Boys, as well as the lyricist-composer and arranger of many songs. He was the brother of musician Eero Raittinen. Career Jussi Raittinen's younger brother Eero Raittinen is also a musician and an original member of The Boys. Their parents were Paavo Raittinen, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Finland, and Rakel Jotuni, who was the niece of the writer Maria Jotuni. Raittinen became a professional musician after serving in the army in 1966. In the 1960s, he was a member of the wireframe bands The Esquires and The Sounds. Jussi Ilmari Pajunen (born 5 September 1954 in Helsinki) is a Finnish politician of the National Coalition Party and former city manager of Helsinki. Prior to this appointment, Pajunen served as a member of the City Council in 1997–2005, and became a member of the City Board in 1999. In 2003 he assumed the position of Chairman of the City Board, holding it until his appointment as City Manager of Helsinki. As City Manager, Pajunen was closely involved in Helsinki's bid to become World Design Capital in 2012 under the theme "Open Helsinki". Juho Rikard Merinen (20 October 187320 April 1918) was a Finnish trade unionist, politician and member of the Parliament of Finland, the national legislature of Finland. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he represented Turku Province North between May 1907 and July 1908. He was executed by the White Guard during the Finnish Civil War. Early life Merinen was born on 20 October 1873 in Tyrvää. He was educated at folk school and Satakunta Agricultural Society's sculpture school. He worked as a carpenter and a farmhand in Tyrvää. Jussi Markkanen (born 8 May 1975) is a Finnish professional ice hockey executive and former goaltender. He is currently serving as general manager of SaiPa. Markkanen played extensively in various European professional leagues as well as the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fifth round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, 133rd overall, by the Edmonton Oilers, as an over-aged entrant. Circle (Finnish Band)
Circle is a Finnish experimental rock band formed in Pori in 1991. Their eclectic, ever-changing style has been associated with genres such as krautrock, heavy metal music, heavy metal, progressive rock, and ambient music, ambient. On some albums they have defined themselves as New Wave of Finnish Heavy Metal (NWOFHM). Biography Circle was formed in 1992 by bassist and singer Jussi Lehtisalo, the only member who has been in the band throughout its career. Jussi Lehtisalo (born 1972) is a Finnish musician. In 1991, he founded Circle, a prolific band drawing influences from heavy metal and krautrock to develop a style of repetitive experimental rock. He also runs a record label, Ektro Records, releasing his own music alongside left field rock and metal releases by artists such as Faust and Acid Mothers Temple. Jussi Kujala (born 4 April 1983 in Tampere) is a Finnish former footballer. Having started his career as an attacking midfielder, he has since dropped deeper down the field. He was the captain of the Finnish U21 national team in the 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualifiers. Club career Kujala made his debut for United in 2000; he made ten appearances and scored one goal for the team. After Tampere United, he spent four seasons playing in the junior and reserve teams of Ajax. He returned to Tampere United in 2004.
