Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre is a centre for sports and recreational activities. It was officially opened to the public on 10 November 2006. The Float at Marina Bay, stylised as The Float@Marina Bay and also known as the Marina Bay Floating Platform, was a multi-purpose outdoor venue at the Downtown Core area of Marina Bay, Singapore. The venue consists of a steel platform in the Marina Reservoir, and a 27,000-seat grandstand along the shore. The floating platform can bear up to 1,070 tonnes, equivalent to the total weight of 9,000 people, 200 tonnes of stage props and three 30-tonne military vehicles. Pioneer MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit station in Singapore. It is part of the MRT East West Line and serves the residential estate of Pioneer. The station is located along Jurong West Street 63 and provides a convenient mode of transportation for residents and visitors to the area. Despite its name, Pioneer station is not physically located within the Pioneer planning area.
