Jurgita Dronina (born 27 March 1986) is a Lithuanian ballet dancer. Until 2024, she was a principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, having previously danced with Royal Swedish Ballet, Dutch National Ballet and English National Ballet. In January 2025, she was appointed artistic director of the Lithuanian National Ballet. Early life Born in Saratov, USSR, Dronina and her family moved to Vilnius, Lithuania when she was four. She started out studying ballroom dancing, and then moved on to gymnastics. When she was nine, a choreographer suggested that she try ballet. She attended the Čiurlionis School of Art in Vilnius and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. Jurgita Jurkutė (born April 23, 1985) is a Lithuanians, Lithuanian actress and beauty pageant titleholder who is the winner of Miss Lithuania, Miss Lithuania 2007 pageant. Biography Jurgita was student of Vilnius University for the Bachelor of Arts on social work. 2012 she graduated bachelor studies at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. Jurgita Štreimikytė (born 14 May 1972 in Alytus, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian former basketball forward who played the WNBA for Indiana Fever and the Euroleague Women with Kaunas, Valenciennes Olympic and SG Comense among others. She was a member of the Lithuanian national team, winning the 1997 Eurobasket. She retired from international basketball following the 2006 World Championship.
