Jurgen Degabriele
Jurgen Degabriele (born 10 October 1996) is a Maltese professional footballer who plays for Hibernians in the Maltese Premier League. Club career Jurgen Degabriele grew through the Hibernians youth system. At age 14, he had a trial with Triestina. He attracted interest from Calcio Padova, being involved in a friendly during a trial. However, he refused to join them, claiming to have been ignored and mistreated throughout his trial. In 2016, he signed a five-year contract with the Hibernians senior side. Degabriele established himself as an up-and-coming important player for Hibernians, playing a part in the club's winning of the 2016–17 Premier League. On 18 May 2018, Degabriele bagged four goals and condemned Lija Athletic to relegation. International career Degabriele was part of the Malta youth squads, namely the under-17, under-19 and under-21. Pietà, Malta
Pietà ( mt, Tal-Pietà) is a small town in the Central Region of Malta, located near the outskirts of the capital city Valletta. Pietà is the suburb next-closest to the capital after Floriana. Its name is derived from Italian and signifies "Mercy." Etymology The name of Pietà in Italian means Mercy. Description Malta's former national hospital, St. Luke's, is located in Tal-Pietà. Tal-Pietà is a coastal town, and an old boathouse of notable historic interest (now in use as a restaurant) is located on the waterfront. The town is named after a Church of Our Lady of Sorrows dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries which is still in active use today. Tórshavn (; lit. "Thor's harbour"), usually locally referred to as simply ''Havn'', is the capital and largest city of the Faroe Islands. Tórsvøllur
Tórsvøllur is a football stadium on the sport site of Gundadalur in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. The stadium holds 5,000 people, and was built in 1999 to become the country's national stadium to provide an artificial grass surface on which international football matches could be played. Previously, the Faroe Islands national team played its home matches in the town of Toftir at Svangaskarð stadium. The 2023–24 Maltese Premier League is the 109th season of top-flight league football in Malta. The season began on 15 September 2023 and will end in April 2024. The season saw the relegation of Valletta, one of the most historic teams in Maltese football, for the first time in their history. The 2022–23 Maltese Premier League is the 108th season of top-flight league football in Malta. The season began on the 20th August 2022 and will end between April and May 2023. Hibernians are the defending champions, having won their 13th title the previous season. Format For this season the Malta Football Association decided to expand the league to 14 teams starting with this season. Teams Fourteen teams will compete in the league – the top ten teams from the previous season and the four teams promoted from the Maltese Challenge League. The promoted teams are Żebbuġ Rangers, Marsaxlokk, and Pietà Hotspurs, who will return after an absence of five, seven, ten and eight years from the top flight respectively. Ħamrun Spartans are the defending champions, having won their 8th title the previous season. On 9 April, the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Malta. Following the decision of the Maltese Football Association Executive Committee, the teams that had finished in the relegation places in the previous Premier League season would be relegated to the Challenge League due to having played the prerequisite 75% of matches for the seasons result to stand. However, as the Challenge League teams did not complete 75% of matches, they would not be promoted to the Premier League to replace the exiting teams, meaning that the 2021–22 season will have only 12 teams competing. 2016-17 Maltese Premier League
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
