The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five, the big or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is almost always the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. The 2012–13 Telemach League was the 22nd season of the Premier A Slovenian Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in Slovenia. The first half of the season consisted of 10 teams and a 90-game regular season (18 games for each of the 10 teams) and began on Saturday, 20 October 2012. The Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A (, commonly abbreviated NB I/A) is Hungarian basketball league system, the highest level Sports league, league of club men's basketball in Hungary. Format The league comprises 14 teams. A NB I/A season is split into a league stage and a playoff/playout stage. At the end of the league stage (14 teams) the top 5 teams play another league stage, another 5 play with each other, and then the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff stage. The playoffs are played in "Playoff format#Best-of-five playoff, Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are the champions of that season. The Polish Basketball Cup () is the annual top-tier level national domestic basketball cup competition for clubs in Poland. It is managed and organised by the Polish Basketball League (PLK).
