Juraj Šebalj
Juraj Šebalj (born 26 February 1976) is a Croatian rally driver. Career Šebalj won the Croatian Rally Championship for six years running, driving a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution#Evolution IX, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, and was twice Production Car champion in the Central European Zone Rally Championship. A 21-year-old Šebalj made his debut in 1997, driving a Rover Mini#Mini Cooper and Cooper S: 1961–1971; 1990-2000, Mini Cooper. Then in 2003, the Croatian did two rounds of that year's Junior World Rally Championship. In his home country, he has succeeded in winning the Croatia Rally three times in the mid-2000s. Šebalj would also win the Delta Rally twice more post-split. In the 2015 Croatia Rally, he was fifth overall, having been beaten by four leading drivers, the winner Murat Bostancı, runner up Hermann Gassner, Jr., third placer Darko Peljhan and fourth placer János Puskádi. The 2006 Monte Carlo Rally (formally the 74th Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo) was the first round of the 2006 World Rally Championship. Group N
In relation to international motorsport governed by the FIA, Group N refers to regulations providing "standard" large-scale series production vehicles for competition. They are limited in terms of modifications permitted to the standard specification by the manufacturer making them a cost effective method of production vehicle motorsport. Often referred to as the "showroom class", Group N contrasts with Group A which has greater freedom to modify and tune the cars to be more suitable to racing. Both groups may have the same or similar models homologated by a manufacturer. Group N was introduced by the FIA in 1982 to replace the outgoing Group 1 as "standard touring cars". The Central European Zone Rally Championship is an international rally championship which is run by the Austrian-based Oberste Nationale Sportkommission für den Motorsport (OSK) under the auspicies of the FIA and held across several European countries. Junior World Rally Championship
The FIA Junior WRC Championship is an international rallying series restricted to drivers under 29 years old, running within the framework of the World Rally Championship. The series is governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and promoted by M-Sport Ltd. Run annually since 2013, the championship is the latest in the FIA's junior driver category which began in 2001 with the Super 1600 Championship, the Junior World Rally Championship in 2002, and the WRC Academy in 2011. The Croatia Rally is an international rallying event based in Zagreb, Croatia and is planned to be the third round of 2021 World Rally Championship. The event is organised by Automobile Clubs D.T.
