Junior Sandoval
Junior Josué Sandoval López (born October 13, 1990) is a Honduran footballer who currently plays for Kalonji Pro-Profile in the United Premier Soccer League. Career Youth and College Sandoval grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia and attended Centennial High School in Roswell, Georgia before playing a year of college soccer at Georgia Perimeter College. He was the Jaguars' leading scorer as a freshman with 29 points on nine goals and 11 assists, and was named to the NJCAA All-Region First Team. Sandoval also played two seasons with Atlanta FC of the National Premier Soccer League, including their Lamar Hunt US Open Cup match against Charleston Battery in 2009. Professional Sandoval left college early and joined Puerto Rico Islanders on February 17, 2010. He made his professional debut on April 18, 2010, in a 2010 CFU Club Championship game against Haitian side Racing des Gonaïves. Centennial High School is a public high school located in Roswell, Georgia, United States. It opened in 1997. The school was named in honor of the 1996 Olympic games held in Atlanta a year before the school's opening, which marked the centennial anniversary of the modern games. The school's mascot is the Knight. Students, faculty and campus Centennial High School is housed in a state-of-the-art educational facility sitting on within the city limits of Roswell. The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The Caribbean Club Championship served as a qualifying event for the CONCACAF Champions League tournament. The tournament was officially the Flow CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship for sponsorship reasons from 2018 to 2022. With the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League starting from the 2024 edition, the 2022 edition of the Caribbean Club Championship was the last held. 2020 USL Championship Season
The 2020 USL Championship season was the tenth season of the USL Championship and fourth under Division II sanctioning. This was the second season under the name "USL Championship", having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. Real Monarchs were the defending USL Cup champions. The 2020 season saw 35 teams participate in two conferences during the regular season. On November 8, 2019, Ottawa Fury FC announced that it had suspended operations. The team had received sanctioning from its country's governing body, Canada Soccer, but was denied by U.S. Soccer and the continental governing body of CONCACAF. Atlanta Soccer Club was an American soccer team based in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2007 as Atlanta FC, it became the reserve team of the Atlanta Silverbacks in 2011, and licensed the name of the first team when it folded in 2016. On January 4, 2019, the club announced that it had parted ways with Atlanta Silverbacks Park, the owner of the trademarks, and had to rebrand as a result.
