Junior Bergen
Junior Bergen (born October 23, 2002) is an American professional football wide receiver and return specialist for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Montana Grizzlies and was selected by the 49ers in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft. Early life and high school Bergen is the 6th of 8 children in his family. His father, Simon Bergen, is a former Billings Outlaw player of the Indoor Football League. He attended Billings Senior high school, where he played basketball and football. He played as a receiver in his sophomore and junior year, and primarily as a quarterback in his senior year. At that role, he was a dual threat, throwing 1,186 yards and 13 touchdowns, and rushing for 905 yards and 17 touchdowns. A wide receiver (WR), also referred to as a wideout, and historically known as a split end (SE) or flanker (FL), is an eligible receiver in gridiron football. The quarterback (QB) is a position in gridiron football who are members of the offensive side of the ball and mostly line up directly behind the Lineman (football), offensive line. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits football team represents South Dakota State University in college football. Montana State Bobcats Football
The Montana State Bobcats football program competes in the Big Sky Conference of the NCAA's Division I Football Championship Subdivision for Montana State University. The program began in 1897 and has won three national championships (1956, 1976, and 1984). It is the only college football program in the nation to win national championships on three different levels of competition, NAIA, NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division I-AA (now FCS). Through the 2024 season, the Bobcats had played in 1,077 games with an all-time record of 548–497–32.
