Junge Generation
The Young Generation (, JG) is the youth organisation of the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP), a political party representing the German-speaking and Ladin-speaking population of South Tyrol, in Italy. The Young Generation has about 6,000 members and is therefore the largest political youth organisation in South Tyrol and is the community of all party members of the SVP at the age of 14 to 30. The JG has about 100 local groups spread over the whole territory. President of the organisation is René Tumler, who was elected from the congress together with his deputies in March 2014. The JG is the youth branch of the SVP and wants to be the spokesman of the young people within the party. The logo was restyled in spring 2010. The colours are black, white and red. The last two are the colours of the Tyrolean flag and represents the link of the youth organisation with the territory. YEPP brings together 64 centre-right youth political organisations from 40 countries all over Europe. Founded in 1997 by the 2006–2014 Prime Minister of Sweden Fredrik Reinfeldt, YEPP has developed into the largest political youth organisation in Europe. Full members status is held to the European Youth Forum (YFJ) which operates within the Council of Europe and European Union areas and works closely with both these bodies (full members status to the European Youth Forum has also Democrat Youth Community of Europe, whose senior branch merged into the European People's Party in 2002). The Democrat Youth Community of Europe (DEMYC) is the international umbrella organisation of the youth wings of christian democratic, conservative and like-minded parties of Europe. With currently now more than one million affiliates in its member organisations, DEMYC is one of the strongest political youth organisations in Europe. DEMYC is the oldest centre-right youth political formation in Europe, founded in 1964, celebrating 51 years of existence. The International Young Democracy Union (IYDU) is a global alliance of centre-right political youth organisations and the youth wing of the International Democrat Union. The IYDU in its current form was founded in March 1991 in Washington, D.C. A previous organisation of the same name had been established in July 1981, also in Washington, but subsequently ceased to exist. The IYDU fights for conservative and free-market policies worldwide.
