Jun Kokubo
is a former Japanese football player. Playing career Kokubo was born in Gunma Prefecture on September 8, 1980. After he dropped out of Tokai University, he joined the newly promoted J2 League club, Montedio Yamagata in August 1999. He played many matches as midfielder during his first season. In 2004, he moved to his local club Thespa Kusatsu in the Japan Football League The also known as simply the JFL is the 4th tier of the Japanese association football league system, positioned beneath the three divisions of the J.League.
