Jacob Juma
Jacob, later known as Israel, is a Patriarchs (Bible), Hebrew patriarch of the Abrahamic religions. He first appears in the Torah, where he is described in the Book of Genesis as a son of Isaac and Rebecca. Accordingly, alongside his older fraternal twin brother Esau, Jacob's paternal grandparents are Abraham and Sarah and his maternal grandfather is Bethuel, whose wife is not mentioned. He is said to have bought Esau's birthright and, with his mother's help, deceived his aging father to bless him instead of Esau. Juma Abdalla Oris (died in March 2001) was a Ugandan military officer and government minister during the dictatorship of Idi Amin. After fleeing his country during the Uganda–Tanzania War, he became leader of the West Nile Bank Front (WNBF), a rebel group active in the West Nile region of Uganda during the 1990s. Biography Juma Abdalla Oris was born in northern Uganda, or Nimule in southern Sudan. He was a Muslim and, ethnically, a Madi and/or Nubian. Oris received only minimal education, and eventually joined the Uganda Army, becoming a high-ranking colonel by the early 1970s. Dr Juma Alifa Ngasongwa (born 13 August 1941 in Ngombo in Ulanga District) is a Tanzanian politician who served as Chama Cha Mapinduzi Member of Parliament for Ulanga Magharibi in the National Assembly of Tanzania. Ngasongwa grew up in Biro in Malinyi a ward of Ulanga district in Tanzania, and graduated from the University of Suchdol, Prague, Czechoslovakia, in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He later earned a master's degree from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1980, before completing a PhD at the University of East Anglia, England, in 1988. Juma Nature (born ''Juma Kassim Ally'', in 1980) is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava recording artist and record producer. He was the founder and member of a Temeke music group called TMK Wanaume, a group of rappers from the Temeke municipality side of Dar es Salaam. His last album, "Bongo Flava: Swahili Rap from Tanzania", through many of his lyrics, touched on many current problems affecting Tanzania social communities. These problems include, diseases, difficulties of meeting basic needs, social classes and wealth gap status. Juma Volter Mwapachu (27 September 1942 – 28 March 2025) was a Tanzanian politician who served as Secretary General of the East African Community. He replaced Amanya Mushega of Uganda who completed his five-year term on 24 March 2006. Background Mwapachu was born on 27 September 1942. He was nominated for the post by Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete. He was elected as Secretary General of the East African Community by the Summit of EAC Heads of State on 4 April 2006. Juma Mossi (born 7 July 1973) is a Burundian retired footballer who served as captain of the Burundian national team. Jum'a-Mohammad Mohammadi
Jum'a-Mohammad Mohammadi was the Afghan Minister for Mines and Industries under the Afghan Transitional Administration. He died in a plane crash on February 24, 2003 while returning from a mission in Pakistan to learn techniques in copper mining. He was in his late 60s. Mohammadi had served in Afghanistan in the 1970s as water and power minister under president Mohammad Daoud. He was later imprisoned for two years after communists took over in a 1978 coup and assassinated Daoud. After being released, Mohammedi fled to the United States and spent most of the 1980s and 1990s there working as a construction engineer and for the World Bank. Juma Khan is an ethnic Baloch drug lord from Afghanistan's southern Nimruz Province. Juma Khan was an illiterate provincial Baloch drug smuggler from Nimruz Province in southwestern Afghanistan in the 1990s.
