Plot Based on Hans-Eric Hellberg's children's books, the story is set in and around the fictional Dalarna village of Busnäs in Sweden. Hans-Eric Hellberg (11 May 1927 – 10 December 2016) was a Swedish author and journalist. Born in , Borlänge, he primarily wrote young adult novels, most notably '' Kram'' (1973). Active between 1950 and 2003, he wrote approximately 78 published books. The 1986 '' Sveriges Television's Christmas calendar'' (''Julpussar och stjärnsmällar'') was dedicated to the works of Hellberg. He won several accolades during his career spanning five decades, including the Nils Holgersson Plaque The Nils Holgersson Plaque is an award given by Swedish Library Association. SVT1 (SVT Ett; commonly referred to as Ettan) is the primary television station of the Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Television in Sweden. History Television in Sweden officially launched on 4 September 1956 with the launch of ''Radiotjänst TV'', renamed ''Sveriges Radio TV'' a year later. Plot The stories are based on Danish writer Cecil Bødker's two novels, who in turn are based on the New Testament and other older stories about Jesus, as Cecil Bødker tried to reflect life in Ancient Egypt and Palestine upon the time Jesus was born.
