Julius D. Kaplan is an American art historian who in 1999 was appointed professor of art at California State University. Art history is the study of artistic works made throughout human history. Gustave Moreau (; 6 April 1826 – 18 April 1898) was a French artist and an important figure in the Symbolist movement. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles.
