Julio Roloff
Julio Roloff (born 1951 in Havana) is a Cuban composer that has collaborated with the Laboratorio Nacional de Música Electroacústica (LNME) founded by composer Juan Blanco, where he created numerous electroacoustic pieces. Studies Julio Roloff studied double bass and music theory at the Amadeo Roldán and Ignacio Cervantes Conservatories. Roberto Valera Chamizo (born 1938) is a Cuban composer and pedagogue who has a made a substantial contribution to the development of music in Cuba.The living composers project. Carlos Fariñas (1934 in Cienfuegos – 2002 in La Habana) was a Cuban composer. He was one of the most important masters of the Cuban avant-garde in the 1960s along with Leo Brouwer and Juan Blanco. He received his firsts musical orientations in the family. After that he moved to La Habana, Cuba, and was a disciple of the masters Jose Ardevol, Harold Gramatges and Enrique Gonzales Mántici. The University of Arts of Cuba / Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) was established on 1 September 1976, by the Cuban government as a school for the arts.
