Julio César Maglione
Julio César Maglione (born November 14, 1935, in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a former member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from Uruguay. He became an IOC member in 1996 and an honorary member in 2015. Between 1989 and 1990, he served as president of the Uruguayan Football Association Maglione has been president of the Uruguayan Olympic Committee (Comité Olímpico Uruguayo, COU) since 1987. Hugo Batalla Parentini (July 11, 1926 – October 3, 1998), Uruguayan politician, was Vice President of Uruguay from 1995 to 1998 during the presidency of Julio María Sanguinetti. Background His political activity started in the Colorado Party with Zelmar Michelini. Batalla was elected ''diputado'' for the Department of Montevideo from 1962–66 and 1967–71, and was President of the Chamber of Deputies of Uruguay from 1969 to 1970. He was also a member of the Latin American Parliament and Vice-President from 1968–69. Julio Franzini
Ing. Julio César "Cholo" Franzini Molinari (November 5, 1926 – June 2, 2017) was a Uruguayan public administrator and association football executive. Franzini earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in the United States in the 1950s. He contributed to the establishment of the first Uruguayan television channel, Saeta TV Channel 10. A member of the Colorado Party, he administered the Oceanographic and Fisheries Service (SOYP) in the 1960s, inaugurating the first fishing terminal in Uruguay, and was ambassador of Uruguay to Egypt in the late 1990s. Franzini was the President of Defensor Sporting when the team were crowned champions in 1976, making them the first team other than Nacional and Peñarol to win the Uruguayan Championship.
