Julio César García
Julio César García (born 21 April 1987) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2013, winning the World Boxing Council, WBC FECARBOX super featherweight title in 2004. His promoter was Roberto Durán. Professional career García turned pro five days after turning 15 against Héctor Salazar. García won the World Boxing Council, WBC FECARBOX super featherweight title, the Mexican super featherweight title, World Boxing Association, WBA Continental light welterweight title, and the WBC Youth light welterweight title. He knocked out Grover Wiley to capture the International Boxing Organization, IBO Americas welterweight title and then his next bout was a victory against Alfonso Sanchez (20-5-1). War Memorial Auditorium is a 2,110-seat multi-purpose arena and convention center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S. The venue hosted professional wrestling cards from the Championship Wrestling from Florida promotion between 1951 and 1987. It was later home to television tapings for Ladies Major League Wrestling in 1990 and ''UWF Fury Hour'' in 1991. It was also host to ECW Hardcore Heaven in 1997, MLW WarGames in 2003, ROH Showdown in the Sun in 2012, and MLW WarGames in 2018. Jeremy Bates (born January 12, 1974) is an American professional boxer. Nicknamed "The Beast", Bates was a moderately successful fighter who fought several other journeyman fighters of his era. Bates has become something of a "comeback" opponent for veteran fighters such as Holyfield, Golota, and Meehan. Professional boxing career Early career Bates turned professional in 1999 and fought mainly journeyman fighters, losing to prospect Andre Purlette in 2001. Bates later lost to Sedreck Fields, Kirk Johnson, Leo Nolan, Brian Minto, and Ray Austin before his first retirement.
