Julio Cesar Giraldo
Julio Cesar Giraldo Giraldo (born 19 August, 1995), is a Colombian professional rugby union player. Giraldo currently plays for Rugby United New York in Major League Rugby and represents Old Blue R.F.C. in the American Rugby Premiership at amateur level. He was the second Colombian to ever play rugby professionally, and the first to play in Major League Rugby. Early life Giraldo was born in Medellin, Colombia. He began playing and developed as a rugby player at the Caporos Rugby club in Monteria-Colombia. He joined the club in 2011 and quickly earned a spot on the first team. He had several outstanding performances, and continued playing for his hometown club throughout 2014. Career Giraldo moved to the United States on February 9, 2015, at the age of 19, joining Old Blue RFC. Nate Brakeley
Nate Brakeley (born August 31, 1989) is an American rugby union player who plays lock and flanker for Rugby New York (Ironworkers) of Major League Rugby (MLR) and for the United States men's national team. Brakeley also plays for the New York Athletic Club. Early life After graduating from St. John's Preparatory School, where he was a member of the school's rugby team, Brakeley attended Dartmouth College. While there, Brakeley was a member of the Dartmouth Rugby team that won Collegiate Rugby Championships in 2011 and 2012. Brakeley also attended Cambridge University, where he earned an MPhil in energy technology. While at Cambridge, Brakeley played for the Cambridge University rugby team and participated in the 2012 Varsity Match—a 26–19 defeat to Oxford. Sam Boyd Stadium (formerly the Las Vegas Silver Bowl) is a football stadium in the western United States, located in Whitney, Nevada, an unincorporated community in the Las Vegas Valley. It honors Sam Boyd (1910–1993), a major figure in the hotel and casino industry in Las Vegas. The New England Free Jacks are a professional rugby union team in Major League Rugby (MLR) based in the Greater Boston area. They were announced in September 2018 and began to compete professionally in October 2018. They competed in their first season in MLR in the 2020 season. History On September 21, 2018, Major League Rugby announced that Boston would be one of the expansion teams joining the league for the 2020 season. That same day, the Boston club was announced as the New England Free Jacks through social media.
