Julie Greene (politician)
Julie Greene is an American politician serving since 2025 as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), Greene represents District 50A in the southwestern Twin Cities metropolitan area, which includes parts of Edina and Bloomington in Hennepin County. Early life and career Greene was born on February 16, 1972, and raised in Chicago, Illinois, before earning a B.A. in communications from the University of Dayton, Ohio. She spent 25 years as a brand strategist, then served as vice chair of the Edina School Board from 2020 to 2024, chairing committees on policy and legislative action. Heather Edelson
Heather Edelson ( ; born April 4, 1981) is an American politician who is a member of the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2019 to 2024, representing District 50A in the western Twin Cities metropolitan area, which includes Edina and parts of Hennepin County. In 2024, she was elected to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners from the 6th district. Early life, education, and career Edelson was raised in north Minneapolis and attended Columbia Heights High School. She attended Hamline University for her undergraduate studies and the University of Minnesota for her master's degree in social work. Edelson has worked as a mental health therapist and served as a guardian ad litem in Hennepin County. Edina Public Schools
The Edina School District is the Public school (government funded), public school system for most of the city of Edina, Minnesota, Edina, Minnesota. It is also referred to as the Independent School District (ISD) 273. There are approximately 8,500 students, K-12, served by 1139 teachers and support staff in six elementary schools (Grades K-5), two middle schools (Grades 6-8) and one high school (Grades 9-12).
