Julia Lossius Kahrs (born 1985) is a Norwegian children's writer. Career She made her literary debut with ''Sølvrevene'', published by Gyldendal Norsk Forlag in 2009. She followed with ''Øst for Dunkelpiggen'' (2012), ''Billie Ve'' (2014), ''Gresshoppens sang'' (2019) and ''Familien Brattbakk'' (2022), all on Gyldendal. The latter earned her a Brage Prize for children's and young adult literature in 2022. ''Familien Brattbakk'' was also nominated for the . In 2023 she was awarded a grant that allowed her to write full-time. She followed with more children's books on Gyldendal, ''Noor og miniatyren'' (2023) and ''Noor og mysterieklubben'' (2024). Gyldendal Norsk Forlag AS, commonly referred to as Gyldendal N.F. and in Norway often only as Gyldendal, is one of the largest Norway, Norwegian publishing houses. It was founded in 1925 after buying rights to publications from the Denmark, Danish publishing house Gyldendal, which the company also takes it name from. The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' (, abbreviated ''SNL'') is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. It has several subdivisions, including the Norsk biografisk leksikon. Son, Norway
Son is an old town, and a former municipality. It is located in Vestby municipality in Akershus. Overview Son is located at the Oslofjord, 50 kilometres south of the Norwegian capital Oslo, just north of Moss, Norway, Moss and near the border of Østfold, and is located west of the village of Hølen. Before the merge with Vestby the number of inhabitants in Son was about 800–900 (1940). Today, Son, including Store Brevik has 5035 inhabitants (2006). Son, together with the village of Hølen, was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Son and Hølen were separated as municipalities of their own January 1, 1848. Grünerløkka () is a borough but also a neighborhood of the city of Oslo, Norway. Grünerløkka became part of the city of Oslo (then Christiania) in 1858. Grünerløkka was traditionally a working class district; since the late 20th century the area has increasingly undergone gentrification. She currently teaches part-time at the high school in Vanylven.
