Julia Hwang
Julia Hwang (born January 1996) is a South Korean violinist. Hwang gave her professional solo debut with the English National Baroque Chamber Orchestra at the age of nine, performing Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerto in A minor, and in the same year performed for legendary violinist Ivry Gitlis in London. Three years later, at the age of 12, she performed Nigel Hess's Ladies in Lavender with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Hwang has been a veteran of the concert stage for many years and her numerous solo appearances with orchestras internationally have led to an ever-increasing schedule of concerts both in the UK and abroad. She has appeared many times on live television and radio through the BBC and ITV, and in 2012, she was featured in a BBC4 documentary about the nation’s favourite composition ''The Lark Ascending'' by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Johann Sebastian Bach (28 July 1750) was a German composer and musician of the late Baroque period. Russell Watson is an English tenor who has released singles and albums of both operatic-style and pop songs. He began singing as a child, and became known after performing at a working men's club. Julian Lloyd Webber (born 14 April 1951) is a British solo cellist, conductor and broadcaster, a former principal of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the founder of the In Harmony music education programme. Early years and education Julian Lloyd Webber is the second son of the composer and music educator William Lloyd Webber and his wife, Jean Johnstone (a piano teacher). He is the younger brother of the composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The composer Herbert Howells was his godfather. Lesley Garrett, CBE (born 10 April 1955) is an English soprano singer, musician, broadcaster and media personality. She is noted for being at home in opera and "crossover music". Ivry Gitlis ( he, עברי גיטליס; 25 August 1922 – 24 December 2020) was an Israeli virtuoso violinist and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. He performed with the world's top orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Josep Maria Carreras Coll (; born 5 December 1946), better known as José Carreras (, ), is a Spanish operatic tenor who is particularly known for his performances in the operas of Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini.
