Juli Reding
Esther Fay Reding Hutner (November 28, 1935 – September 16, 2021), better known as Juli Reding, was an American actress and model, best known for her role in the Bert I. Gordon horror film, '' Tormented'' (1960). Early life Esther Fay Reding was born in Quanah, Texas on November 28, 1935, and raised in Branson, Missouri, one of seven children born to Roy Reding and Ruth Wallace Reding. Her parents owned an antique shop in Branson. Career Reding, usually presented as a curvaceous platinum blonde starlet, won a Warner Brothers contract in a publicity contest in the 1950s. She appeared in several films, most notably the horror film ''Tormented'' (1960), and murder mystery ''Mission in Morocco'' (1959). She also appeared on the covers and in pinup pages of magazines including ''Scamp'', ''Escapade'', ''Fling'', ''Vagabond'', ''Vue'', and ''Foto-Rama''. ''Tormented'' is a 1960 American horror film directed and produced by Bert I. Gordon for Allied Artists Pictures Corporation, and starring Richard Carlson. The film was featured in the fourth season of the television series ''Mystery Science Theater 3000''. Plot Jazz pianist Tom Stewart lives in a Cape Cod island community, and is preparing to marry his fiancée Meg Hubbard. Shortly before the wedding, Tom's ex-girlfriend Vi Mason visits and informs him that she will end his relationship with Meg, using blackmail if necessary. While they argue atop a lighthouse, the railing gives way, and Vi falls, managing to hang on briefly. She cries out for help but Tom refuses and watches her fall to her death. The series originally aired for four seasons, with 155 episodes produced. It stars Lloyd Bridges as former Navy diver Mike Nelson, and was produced by Ivan Tors. Development Series executive producer Ivan Tors conceived the idea for ''Sea Hunt'' while working on the 1958 film '' Underwater Warrior''. Quanah, Texas
Quanah is a city in and the county seat of Hardeman County, Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 2,641, down from 3,022 at the 2000 census. Quanah is northwest of Fort Worth and south of the Red River, which forms the Oklahoma-Texas state line. Copper Breaks State Park is south of the city. History Quanah was organized in 1884 as a stop on what was then the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway. The city was named for Quanah Parker, the last Comanche chief. The county seat of Hardeman County was moved from Margaret to Quanah in 1890 after an acrimonious battle that contributed to the splitting off of the southern section of Hardeman County as Foard County. The courthouse, constructed in 1908, anchors what is now the historic downtown district. The courthouse was financed by a bond election approved by voters in 1906. The project architect was R.H.
