Catalonia is (as of 2018) divided into 947 Municipalities of Spain, municipalities. Girona (officially and in Catalan , Spanish: ''Gerona'' ) is a city in northern Catalonia, Spain, at the confluence of the Ter, Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers.
