Judith Green (historian)
Judith Green (born 1947) is an English medieval historian, who is Emerita Professor of Medieval History at the University of Edinburgh. A graduate of King's College, London and Somerville College, Oxford, she held a research fellowship and then a lectureship at the University of St Andrews before transferring to a lectureship at Queen's University, Belfast. There she became a Reader and, eventually, Professor. In 2005, she took the professorship at Edinburgh, retiring in 2011. Judy Green (mathematician)
Judith (Judy) Green (born 1943) is an American logician and historian of mathematics who studies women in mathematics. She is a founding member of the Association for Women in Mathematics; she has also served as its vice president, and as the vice president of the American Association of University Professors. Education and career Green earned her bachelor's degree at Cornell University. She completed a master's degree at Yale University, and a Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her dissertation, supervised by Carol Karp and finished in 1972, was ''Consistency Properties for Uncountable Finite-Quantifier Languages''. Green was elected an AMS Member at Large in 1975 and served for three years until 1977. She belonged to the faculty of Rutgers University before moving to Marymount University in 1989. Judy Green (socialite)
Judith Green (October 26, 1934 – September 14, 2001) was a New York City novelist, socialite and philanthropist. Early life Judith was born on October 26, 1934, and brought up in New York, at 101 Central Park West. She was the daughter of Arthur Stephen Heiman, a wealthy businessman, and Rose Boehm Heiman (d. 2002). She graduated from the Birch Wathen School and, later, Vassar College. Career From an early age she moved in social, publishing and showbusiness circles. Dorothy Fields, the Broadway lyricist, was a maternal relative. She was heralded as Andy Warhol's first muse by Baby Jane Holzer. Warhol not only did her photo portrait but she starred in his first movie, ''The Kiss'', on permanent display at MOMA. She was also reportedly close to Frank Sinatra and Neil Sheehan, the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winning Vietnam War correspondent.
