Adele Juda
Adele Juda (9March 188831October 1949) was an Austrian psychologist and neurologist. She studied the incidence of mental illness in gifted and creative German-speaking people. One of those included in her studies was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Mozart, whom she deemed to be 'psychiatrically normal'. Early life and education Adele Juda's father Karl was a graphic artist and director of a printing house; her mother was Maria. During her youth her family moved around and lived in Prague, Munich, and Innsbruck. She played the piano and received musical education. She had planned to become a pianist, but a movement disorder in her left hand prevented this. While being treated she met Editha Senger, who later married Ernst Rüdin. In 1922 Juda started studying medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Annely Juda
Annely Juda CBE (born Anneliese Emily Brauer; September 23, 1914 – August 13, 2006) was a German art dealer known for founding the Annely Juda Fine Arts gallery in London. Notable artists represented have included Anthony Caro, David Hockney and Leon Kossoff. Juda introduced several Japanese artists to the London art market. Early life Anneliese Emily Brauer was born in Kassel in 1914 and she was brought up in Germany. Her father was a chemist and he had bought a building that had belonged to Goethe. Her mother was a designer of clothing and typefaces. Her family were Jewish and they left to escape persecution following her father being arrested in 1933. Juda's grandmother decided to stay and she eventually committed suicide to avoid being deported by the Nazis. Juda's family went to work in Palestine but after three years she left to find her fortune in London. Paul Wojciech Juda ( ; born July 7, 2001) is an American artistic gymnast. He is a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team. He was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships and the bronze medal-winning team at the 2024 Olympic Games. He was also a two-time silver medalist at the 2021 Pan American Championships. In NCAA Gymnastics, he competed for the Michigan Wolverines, where he won six Big Ten titles (two individual and four team) and nine NCAA championships (six individual and three team). Operation Crossroads
Operation Crossroads was a pair of nuclear weapon tests conducted by the United States at Bikini Atoll in mid-1946. They were the first nuclear weapon tests since Trinity on July 16, 1945, and the first detonations of nuclear devices since the atomic bombing of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945. The purpose of the tests was to investigate the effect of nuclear weapons on warships. The Crossroads tests were the first of many nuclear tests held in the Marshall Islands and the first to be publicly announced beforehand and observed by an invited audience, including a large press corps. Mizar (band)
Mizar ( ) is a Macedonian rock band from Skopje. They achieved a status of a cult band, especially in Macedonia and across the former Yugoslavian countries. The group is notable for its first self-titled album, as it was the first popular music album in the former Yugoslavian countries in Macedonian. The album was a major success and it is listed among the top ten rock albums ever released in former Yugoslavian countries. Mizar was formed in 1981 in the then Socialist Republic of Macedonia. Because of the band's avant-garde sound and image, its Christian leanings and support for Macedonian self-determination, they were viewed with certain degree of suspicion by the former authorities.
