Jubilee (character)
Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri, the character first appeared in ''Uncanny X-Men'' #244 (May 1989). Jubilee is a member of the human subspecies known as Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutants, born with superhuman abilities. She can generate pyrotechnic energy blasts from her hands. Introduced as an orphaned "mall rat" from Beverly Hills, Jubilee joined the X-Men in the early 1990s, becoming the team's youngest member and often playing a sidekick role to her father-figure, Wolverine (character), Wolverine. Jubilee eventually joined the junior team Generation X (comics), Generation X, and was a prominent character in the 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series, ''X-Men'' animated series. Kathryn Immonen
Kathryn Immonen (; Kuder) is a Canadian comic book and webcomic writer. She has written a number of comic books for Marvel Comics since 2007, in collaboration with her husband Stuart. Biography In 2007 Immonen began working for Marvel Comics writing a Hellcat story, with Stuart providing the art, for the first four issues of ''Marvel Comics Presents''. This was followed in 2008 by a five issue ''Patsy Walker: Hellcat'' mini-series, this time with artist David Lafuente. In May 2009, Immonen became writer for the Marvel Comics' award-winning series, ''Runaways (comics), Runaways'' with artist Sara Pichelli. Kathryn and Stuart Immonen have been creating various webcomics alongside their print work for Marvel Comics. Their first webcomic was ''Never as Bad as You Think'', which was published by Boom! Phil Noto
Phil Noto is an American painter and comic book artist who is known for his work on such titles as ''Jonah Hex'', '' X-23'', ''Uncanny X-Force'' and, more recently, '' Black Widow''. His work on ''The Infinite Horizon'' (a modern retelling of ''The Odyssey'') with Gerry Duggan earned him an Eisner nomination for Best New Series. Phalanx Covenant
"Phalanx Covenant" was a crossover storyline that ran through Marvel Comics' X-Men family of books in September and October 1994. One of its unique aspects was that the X-Men themselves only played a minor role in the story. Plot The X-Men are attacked by mutant-hating humans who have used the alien Warlock's techno-organic Phalanx virus to turn into techno-organic beings themselves.
