Juan Yepez
Juan David Yepez (born February 19, 1998) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder and first baseman in the Washington Nationals organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals. Career Atlanta Braves Yepez signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent in July 2014. The next year, he made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Braves before being promoted to the Danville Braves of the Rookie-level Appalachian League in August. Over 59 games between both clubs, he batted .299 with four home runs and 31 RBIs. In 2016, he was assigned to the Rome Braves of the Single–A South Atlantic League, but played in only 23 games due to injury. He returned to Rome to begin the 2017 season. Palm Beach Cardinals
The Palm Beach Cardinals are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. They are located in the town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County, Florida, and play their home games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Opened in 1998, the park seats 6,871 people. They share the facility with the Jupiter Hammerheads, also of the Florida State League. The Appalachian League is a Collegiate summer baseball, collegiate summer baseball league that operates in the Appalachian regions of Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Designed for rising freshmen and sophomores using wooden baseball bat, bats, its season runs from June through August. Texas League
The Texas League is a Minor League Baseball league which has operated in the South Central United States since 1902. It is classified as a Double-A league. Despite the league's name, only its five South Division teams are actually based in the state of Texas; the five North Division teams are located in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The Springfield Cardinals are a Minor League Baseball team based in Springfield, Missouri. The Florida State League (FSL) is a Minor League Baseball league based in the state of Florida. Having been classified at various levels throughout its existence, it operated at Class A-Advanced from 1990 until its demotion to Single-A following Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The Midwest League is a Minor League Baseball league established in 1947 and based in the Midwestern United States. Peoria Chiefs
The Peoria Chiefs are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The team was established in 1983 as the Peoria Suns. They are located in Peoria, Illinois, and are named for the Peoria Indian tribe for which the city was named. Matthew James Adams (born August 31, 1988) is an American former professional baseball first baseman. Nicknamed "Big City" for his imposing size and ability to regularly hit long home runs, the St. Louis Cardinals selected Adams in the 23rd round of the 2009 MLB draft from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
