Juan Manuel Then (; born February 7, 2000) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2023 for the Seattle Mariners. Career Seattle Mariners Then signed with the Seattle Mariners as an international free agent on July 2, 2016. He made his professional debut in 2017, starting 13 games for the Dominican Summer League Mariners and logging a 2–2 record and 2.64 ERA. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Tacoma, Washington, and play their home games at Cheney Stadium, which opened in 1960. William Penn Murfee (born May 2, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022. Career Amateur career Murfee attended Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. Undrafted out of high school in 2013, Murfree attended Vanderbilt University. Murfee redshirted his freshman season, and played college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores baseball, Commodores for three seasons. Murfee was an infielder his first two seasons, before converting to pitching for his final year at Vanderbilt. Murfee transferred to Santa Clara University for his redshirt senior season. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
