João Simões Lopes Neto
João Simões Lopes Neto (March 9, 1865 – June 14, 1916) was a Brazilian regionalism (art), regionalist writer from Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul. After some unsuccessful business ventures, Neto married at 27. He only wrote four significant works, but nevertheless made a strong contribution to Brazilian literature, specifically regionalist writing known as Criollismo in Latin America. Neto died of a perforated ulcer in 1916 at age 51. References External links

João Cabral De Melo Neto
João Cabral de Melo Neto (January 6, 1920 – October 9, 1999) was a Brazilian poet and diplomat, and one of the most influential writers in late Brazilian modernism. He was awarded the 1990 Camões Prize and the 1992 Neustadt International Prize for Literature, the only Brazilian poet to receive such award to date. He was considered until his death a perennial competitor for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Melo Neto's works are noted for the rigorous, yet inventive attention they pay to the formal aspects of poetry. He derives his characteristic sound from a traditional verse of five or seven syllables (called ‘’redondilha’’) and from the constant use of oblique rhymes. His style ranges from the surrealist tendency which marked his early poetry to the use of regional elements of his native northeastern Brazil. In many works, including the famed auto '' Morte e Vida Severina'', Melo Neto's addresses the life of those affected by the poverty and inequality in Pernambuco. ...

João Soares de Almeida Neto (born 30 January 1980), known as Joãozinho Neto, is a Brazilian footballer, currently playing for Camaçari Futebol Clube. Career Joãozinho started his career at Cruzeiro, one of the biggest club of Minas Gerais. He left Brazil for Spanish side Recreativo de Huelva on 29 January 2003. He left Brazil again for Litex Lovech on 20 July 2004. João Roberto Rota Neto (born 21 May 2003) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Red Bull Bragantino. Professional career Neto made his professional debut with Famalicão in a 2–2 Primeira Liga tie with Sporting CP on 5 December 2020. At 17 years and 6 months old, he was the youngest ever player to make his professional debut with Famalicão. On 1 September 2021, he joined Benfica B on loan.
