Joséphine Pagnier
Joséphine Pagnier (born 4 June 2002) is a French ski jumper. She won two medals at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics and won the French national championship in 2019 and 2020. She competed in the normal hill event at the 2022 Winter Olympics and came third at a 2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup event in Aigner-Schanze. Career In 2016, Pagnier jumped over for the first time in her career, during a junior event at Fichtelbergschanzen, Germany. She was aged 14 at the time. She won the two 2016–17 FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup events in Notodden, Norway. She made her FIS Ski Jumping World Cup debut in 2017 in Hinterzarten, Germany. She was part of the French team that won the ladies' team event at the 2018 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships. Pagnier won the French National Ski Jumping Championships in 2019 and 2020. She was promoted to the French senior team ahead of the 2019–20 season; she was the only French female ski jumper added to the senior team that season. ... Hinterzarten
Hinterzarten is a resort village in the Black Forest (German: ''Schwarzwald''), located in the southwest of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Although Hinterzarten is mostly famous for its ski jumping, it has many other tourist attractions. Geography Location Hinterzarten is located , which is just below that of the Feldberg (), the highest mountain in the Black Forest. The municipality descends to the southeastern end of Lake Titisee (), although its lowest point is the Sternenrank at . Hinterzarten is located within the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, and the Zartenbach stream flows through the municipality. Eurosport

The ''Fédération internationale de ski et de snowboard'' (FIS; en, International Ski and Snowboard Federation) is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. Founded on 2 February 1924 in Chamonix, France during the inaugural Winter Olympic Games, the FIS is responsible for the Olympic disciplines of Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, freestyle skiing, and snowboarding. The 42nd FIS Nordic World Ski Championships were held from 24 February to 7 March 2021 in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was the third time Oberstdorf hosted the World Championships, the event having been hosted there previously in 1987 and 2005. Russia doping ban On 9 December 2019, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) banned Russia from all international sport for a period of four years, after the Russian government was found to have tampered with laboratory data that it provided to WADA in January 2019 as a condition of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency being reinstated. As a result of the ban, WADA plans to allow individually cleared Russian athletes to take part in the 2021–2022 World Championships and 2022 Winter Olympics under a neutral banner, as instigated at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but they will not be permitted to compete in team sports.
