José Tomás
José Tomás Pérez Sellés (26 August 1934, in Alicante – 7 August 2001) was a Spanish classical guitarist and teacher. He would later transcribe Esplá's piano suite, ''Levante'', for the guitar as well as re-discover and transcribe Esplá's previously unknown work, ''Tempo di Sonata''. The sonata, originally composed for the harp, was given its first performance in 1978 by Tomás himself. Eight String Guitar
An eight-string guitar is a guitar with eight strings, or one more than the Russian guitar's seven. Eight-string guitars are less common than six- and seven-string guitars, but they are used by a few classical, jazz, and metal guitarists. The eight-string guitar allows a wider tonal range, or non-standard tunings (such as major-thirds tuning), or both. Various non-standard guitars were made in the 19th century, including eight-string guitars played by Italians Giulio Regondi and Luigi Legnani. Eight-string electric guitars gained popularity among metal bands, largely inspired by Swedish progressive metal band Meshuggah (formed in 1987). Contemporary use outside of metal has picked up in the last decade, and owes much to Animals as Leaders and their stylistic eclecticism. Edoardo Catemario
Edoardo Catemario (born 25 September 1965) is an Italian classical guitarist. Biography Edoardo Catemario was born in Naples. He studied guitar with Salvatore Canino, Antimo Pedata, José Tomás, Stefano Aruta and Maria Luisa Anido, piano and analysis with Titina De Fazio and the South American composers Leo Brouwer and Oscar Casares. At the age of 11 gave his first solo recital. In January 1991 Catemario was the first prize winner of the "Andrés Segovia" guitar competition in Almuñécar, and in 1992 of the Michele Pittaluga International Classical Guitar Competition in Alessandria. His performances include the romantic repertoire ( played on original instruments), baroque, 20th-century music, contemporary and avant-garde music, and include solo, chamber works and concertos for guitar and orchestra. Mario Caserta
Mario (; ) is a character created by the Japanese game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the star of the ''Mario'' franchise, a recurring character in the ''Donkey Kong'' franchise, and the mascot of the Japanese video game company Nintendo. Mario is an Italian plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom with his younger twin brother, Luigi. Their adventures generally involve rescuing Princess Peach from the villain Bowser while using power-ups that give them different abilities. Mario is distinguished by his large nose and mustache, overalls, red cap, and high-pitched, exaggerated Italian accent.
