José Sánchez Marco
José Benigno Sánchez Marco (1865-1949) was a Spanish Traditionalism (Spain), Traditionalist politician, associated mostly with a branch known as Integrism (Spain), Integrism and operating as :es:Partido Católico Nacional, Partido Católico Nacional, though active also within the mainstream Carlism. He is recognized as one of the longest-serving Integrist deputies to the Cortes Generales, Cortes, his 4 consecutive terms lasting between 1905 and 1916. He also presided over a number of Navarrese Catholic and landowners’ organizations. Family and youth The Sánchez family originated from the Southern-Eastern part of Navarre, known as :es:Ribera Navarra, Ribera Baja. José's grandfather, Estanislao Sánchez, owned landholdings near :es:Milagro (Navarra), Milagro and Cadreita. He married a girl from Aragón and possibly lived for some time in Catalonia, as their son and José's father, Francisco Sánchez Asso (1831-1904), was born in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Sant Feliú de Guixols ...

Tudela, Navarre
Tudela is a municipality in Spain, the second largest city of the autonomous community of Navarre and twice a former Latin bishopric. Its population is around 35,000. The city is sited in the Ebro valley. Fast trains running on two-track electrified railways serve the city and two freeways (AP 68 and AP 15) join close to it. Tudela is the capital of the agricultural region of ''Ribera Navarra'', and also the seat of the courts of its judicial district. The city hosts an annual festival in honor of Santa Ana (mother of the Virgin Mary) which begins on 24 July at noon and continues for approximately a week. Street music, bullfights and the running of the bulls are typical events of the festival.
